Marking Time II

$125.00

Marking Time II

watercolor and gouache on archival paper

4 x 4 inches

This is part of a collection of abstract paintings called Intuitive Gestures. These paintings were made over the course of two years in which the repetitive gestures of checking color for other paintings began exposing the artist’s subconscious through meditative mark making. Slowly new paintings emerged that take these discarded brushstrokes and give meaning to them as their own subjects. They formed new images, allowing the viewer to daydream, carrying the creative state from the artist to the viewer.

This painting is shipped framed. Framed measurements are 8.75 x 8.75 inches.
